THPS-20

Appearance: Solid stick, white in appearance - encased in a rice paper tube

Performance:

  • Tetrakis Hydroxymethyl Phossphonium Sulfate solution blend with a solid surfactant
  • Unique manufacturing process retains THPS with a surfactant and make a very beneficial method to apply this product
  • The THPS by nature is considered to be an effective green product
  • THPS-20 remains effective at high temperatures
  • This product is reported to be biodegradable, eliminates organic deposits, remediates iron sulfide, and reduces hydrogen sulfide.

Notes:

  • THPS is reported to be highly toxic to aquatic species and organisms such as algae. This stick form reduces spill hazards. Otherwise this product is not regulated, No reporting is necessary.
  • All 3/4 and 5/8 sticks are encased in an extruded polymer tube.

QUICK KICK

Appearance: White, A blend of powdered gas producing agents and surfactant encapsulated in a rice paper tube. 

Performance:

  • A useful stick product capable of producing an inert gas
  • The released gas provides the action of the products to produce a foam column at the top of the water column
  • In many situations this action reduces the water column pressure on the formation that will allow the well to regain flow

Notes:

  • Do not shut the well in to build pressure after injecting 1-5 sticks. The ingredients in the rice paper tube are released almost instantly providing quick foaming of the well fluids.
  • All 3/4 and 5/8 sticks are encased in an extruded polymer tube.

HI-801

Appearance: Hard stick, white in color - with a disposable cardboard tube

Performance:

  • Low foaming stick containing a hydrate inhibitor concentrate
  • This product can be parked in various locations ahead of hydrate deposits in gas flow path
  • Allow flow over stick results in slow dissolution of stick.

Notes:

  • Various methods of application have been developed by southern hydrocarbon. This company distributes Hydro Foam Product in the West Virginia area.
  • All 3/4 and 5/8 sticks are encased in an extruded polymer tube.

EB-101

Appearance: Solid stick, yellow/brown in color - with a disposable cardboard tube

Performance:

  • Designed and formulated to inject down the tubing of flowing oil and gas wells
  • Expect oil and water seperation at the surface due to chemical addition and aided by flow agitation
  • Results can also be achieved by placing the stick in annulus chemical pot with bypassed well fluids

Notes:

  • Some operators will use in oil storage tanks to aid with tank bottom control.
